Vitt'el Roul, let's get her!

The rosalie, a new way to discover the spa park

  1. Home
  2. Experiences / to live
  3. Discover the thermal park in a rosalie
Rosalie, rosalie... Here we are!

This afternoon, under the sun, everything was inviting us to relax. But rather than let ourselves go, we decided to combine business with pleasure: we rented a rosalie to take a walk in the Vittel Thermal Park. It was a relaxing outing, albeit a little sporty, and we had a lot of laughs!

It all starts at the Chalet des Ânes, where we’ve arranged to meet. In front of us, the rosalies are lined up, waiting for us. From two to eight seats, we have the choice. There are even some with electric assistance, for those who have a few coordination problems and couldn’t manage with a classic rosalie. We opt for a two-seater rosalie, while behind us, a group reserves a 6-seater.

Once we’ve collected our competition machine, we take our places on board. We stand in the direction of the ride, as if on a starting line. Then we’re off: 3,2,1… Let’s go for a little adventure in the Vittel sunshine!

All you need to know about renting a rosalie

Only adults can drive a rosalie.

A deposit is required and will be returned when the rosalie is returned.

Rental is by the half-hour or by the hour.

Rosalies range from 2 to 8 seats, while electric-assist rosalies are 3-seaters.

Coordination at all times

You wouldn’t think it, but the rosalie requires concentration! You have to pedal at the same time, and watch out for pedestrians and other “vehicles”. We set the pace. “We pedal, we pedal”, all the while enjoying the thermal park, its thousand colors, and all the floral scents that pervade it. We wave goodbye to the group behind us, who have just overtaken us. It takes a lot to drive a rosalie.

An experience for one or more

In our case, there were three of us. But Vitt’el Roul doesn’t exclude anyone. Don’t have a partner to accompany you? Would you like to discover the thermal park on your own? Owners Nadège and Philippe Bourg also rent out go-karts and choppers, again by the half-hour or the hour. And if you really want a bike, Vitt’el Roul welcomes you to its dedicated store at 129 avenue Bouloumié. Enough to satisfy all the sporty souls who’d like to discover the thermal park by pedaling.

A welcome moment of relaxation

We reach the end of our ride. Our thighs are a little tight, and our faces have taken on some color despite the protection. But it’s nothing too serious, just the natural signs of a sporting outing. We return the rosarias to their owner at the rental store, before heading back to the park. Our legs, no longer sure whether to walk or pedal, take us to the Vittel Spa for a relaxing body treatment.

Finishing the day royally

Once out of the Spa, fresh and relaxed from our stroll, it’s time for the big preparations. We pull out our best outfits, a bow tie for monsieur, pumps for me… Haven’t you guessed yet? What awaits us tonight is royal: it’s a date at the casino.

Things to do at Vittel Thermal Park

After the rosalie, the Parc Thermal de Vittel invites you to extend the sporting experience… By trying out the mini-golf. Gourmets won’t be left out: the ice creams at the racecourse will melt your heart. And for the more erudite, head to Thermalire… We won’t tell you more.
