Arranging my medical treatment in Vittel

Planning my spa treatment

in 8 steps
1 – I will see my GP or specialist

To obtain a prescription for a spa treatment, stating the name of the spa resort and the treatment focus or dual focus

2 – I make a provisional booking for my treatment dates

With the spa establishment by paying a deposit

3 – I submit my claim for reimbursement

To my health insurance provider. To be eligible for reimbursement, your medical spa treatment must be prescribed by a doctor (GP or specialist), last at least 18 days (a 3-week course of treatment), and fall within the scope of the therapeutic specialisations covered.

4 – Once my claim for reimbursement has been received, I will be informed of my reimbursement rate

The National Health Insurance will reimburse you at least 65% of the ‘flat-rate contribution’, or 100% in the case of a long-term condition.
Your supplementary health insurance may reimburse you for the ‘tariff supplement’ (not covered by the National Health Service). Find out more!

Any costs relating to your accommodation or your stay in Vittel are your responsibility.

5 – I book an appointment with a spa doctor

The doctor will prescribe my spa treatments. The consultation must take place the day before or on the day of my arrival for the treatment programme (before my welcome appointment at the spa centre). See the list of doctors

6 – I book my accommodation through the Vittel Tourist Office (FREE service)

Online orby telephone on 03 29 08 08 88

7 – I confirm my treatment dates with the spa centre
8 – I prepare for my arrival

I organise my transport and pack my bags, making sure not to forget my spa essentials!
