For many years now, the town of Vittel has been awarded four flowers in the national competition for towns and villages in bloom and the gold medal in the departmental competition.
During its visit to our town, the national jury discovered a town ablaze with flowers, boasting floral displays of the very highest quality.
Every year, around 40,000 plants are used to beautify the area. The variety of themes encourages the town’s residents and tourists to take a stroll, daydream, relax… and then return season after season.
In 2016, Vittel was awarded the special mention ‘Prize for the label’s contribution to tourism’, which recognises the town’s dynamism in promoting its area.
2019 marked the town’s crowning achievement with the award of the Fleur d’Or, granted to just nine French towns that year.
